Over 40 high level participants, women and men, engaged on the political left and in public and civil society ranks will debate the topics of internal party democracy and lessons learnt in electoral processes in the region – how do women fare, the role of women’s forums in political parties and their influence and impact, the myths and realities around the “glass ceiling” and the effect of training and political party engagement with its members to promote gender equality.
The Korčula School is organized by the CEE Network for Gender Issues with the co-sponsorship of the Party of European Socialists (PES) and the Olof Palme International Center.
